Yusuke Hirado Prospect”, a solo project by Yusuke Hirado, an up-and-coming pianist and composer in the Japanese Jazz scene who has always fascinated listeners with his traditional and innovative sound-making, is now underway! As the first step, he will release his first album, which presents a new interpretation of contemporary Jazz! The colorful tracks with delicate piano phrases are a reference point for authentic JAZZ, and enable you to encounter a new sound that is a digestion of HIPHOP, Electronica, and Ambient! Eric Bene’t, a singer who represents the classic soul/neo-soul music scene, has expanded his field of activities by performing at the prestigious jazz festivals such as the MONTREUX JAZZ FESTIVAL and the LIVE NICE JAZZ FEST, and now has a large following among non-HIP HOP listeners. Mr. J. Medeiros”, a singer at the top of the crossover/club jazz scene, “Navasha Daya”, and “Wonk”, an experimental soul band that leads the Japanese R&B scene, will perform on the program.The album features drummer and trackmaker “Hikaru ARATA” and “Still Caravan,” who plays a fluid melody and groove that incorporates jazz, post-J Dilla beat, and club jazz from a wide range of angles, and is dedicated to creating a high-quality sound. The band is joined by a superb lineup of guest artists.
