Description
The Topping B200 power amplifier is a mono amplifier based on a discrete-component NFCA amplifier circuit. This enables it to achieve a considerable power level while maintaining excellent performance metrics. Indeed, the B200 is capable of delivering up to 200W of power (THD=1%) at both 4 ohms and 8 ohms. It boasts a dynamic range of 145dB and an extremely low level of distortion. Interface-wise, it’s straight to the point, with three balanced XLR/6.35mm jack combo inputs (accepts both XLR and 3.5mm jack connectors) and a speaker terminal output. A two-level gain control adjusts the output. The whole unit is housed in an attractive, solid aluminium case.
Topping B200: new discrete NFCA amplifier circuit
The new NFCA amplifier module enables the B200 to develop 200W of power at 4 ohms load and 8 ohms load. All with very low distortion (<0.000075%) and an extended dynamic range of 145dB.
Topping B200: 12V trigger and gain control
The B200 features a 12V trigger that automatically switches on when your Hi-Fi system is switched on. In addition, a two-level gain control allows the B200 to adapt to different configurations and speakers: low gain 11.6dB and high gain 22.0dB.
