Tomoko Asaka, aka “Asapi,” has gained popularity as a leading female piano YouTuber. Jazz pianist Jacob Kohler, whom she looks up to as her mentor, has released her third piano album of theme songs from Japan’s world-famous Japanimation series on his JIMS Music Productions label. This album is full of charm, including the participation of Jacob Kohler and Hibiki Piano in a series of piano pieces, and is a concept album on the theme of stars and celestial bodies, centering on “Planetarium Lovers” (feat. Hibiki Piano), the theme song of Cosmo Planetarium Shibuya, in which she participates as full music supervisor. All songs are arranged & performed live on piano by Tomoko Asaka.
