Takana Miyamoto’s first leader album in seven years brought together musicians representing the Japanese music world, and not only instrumentalists but also Takeyoshi Sato, a vocalist, participated specially in this album. This is the first recording of her own vocals, and the result is a jazz album rich in variety. In addition to Takana Miyamoto’s original compositions, the album includes standard numbers such as “Tea for Two” and “What a Wonderful World,” which were recorded for the first time for solo performance, a medley dedicated to Bill Withers, who passed away this year, “Hello Like Before – Just a Two of Us,” and the famous song by Antonio Carlos Jobim.
