The first recording artist of the year for Terashima Records in 2016 is the debut work of guitarist Taichi Minagawa. The members of the group include young super players who will undoubtedly lead the jazz world in the future. Tenor player Masanori Sugimoto is the first saxophonist in the history of jazz in a long time to bring out the beauty of the music to the fullest extent. On drums is Kazuaki Yokoyama, who was selected at the age of 17 to tour with Sadao Watanabe (as) and has continued to climb the ladder to top drummer, and on bass is Akiyoshi Shimizu, who is trusted by veterans and young musicians alike, and is active on the national scene, having toured with Chihiro Yamanaka (p) in Japan.
