The Serenites Band is a group of musicians led by Antony LaRue, aka Obi Riddim.A hot band based in France and strongly influenced by the Ethio-Jazz of the 1950’s to 1970’s has finally released their debut album! While retaining the nostalgic melodies and exotic flavors of Ethio-jazz, the album is a good blend of elements of current jazz funk from label mates Estrada Orchestra, The New Master Sounds, and Lettuce, and is full of groove, funkiness, and danceability!
