Hailing from Rome, Italy. Debut album by Screamachine, a new band including members of Stormlord and Caledon. The band was formed by Francesco Bucci (B) of Stormlord. The five-piece band was formed by Alex Mehle (G) and Paolo Campitelli (G) of Caledon and other musicians who already have a career in the band. The musical direction of the band is clear: they play the royal heavy metal of the 1980s and 1990s that they love. The band cites Judas Priest, early Metallica, early Iced Earth, Savatage, and Accept as influences. The band’s sound is not a mere rehash, but rather an update with a heaviness, intensity, and depth of performance and production appropriate for a release in the 2020’s. The band is made up of members who are all career musicians. The album contains high quality songs with catchy tunes that catch the ear and are performed with the solid skills of the band members, all of whom are experienced musicians.Guest musicians include Steve DiGiorgio (B / ex-Testament, ex-Death, ex-Iced Earth, etc.), Herbie Lanhans (Vo / Firewind, Tobias Sametz Avantasia, etc.) and Simone Mularoni (G / DGM).
