The Tokyo Mitaka Philharmonia is the Tokyo Mozart Players, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2016, and has changed its name to the Mitaka Performing Arts Center. The members are young Japanese musicians who are active in orchestras and as soloists in Japan and abroad. Their highly skilled personalities fuse together to create a fresh and diverse ensemble. The concerto will be performed in the “pretend piano concerto” style, which is one of the Mitaka Philharmonic’s specialties, and you will enjoy the lively performance of Mozart by Tatsunori Numajiri as a pianist.
