RUST N’ RAGE was formed in 2010 by members Johnny (G) and Jezzy (Ds), who live in the small city of Pori, Finland. For a while after its formation, the band was active as a cover band. The band initially consisted of five members, including a guitarist, but after a change of members, Vince (Vo) and Eddie (B) joined the band, and Johnny became the only guitarist, thus completing the current lineup. After a series of demos, the band made its debut in 2013 with the album “SHOWDOWN” on the EKTRO RECORDS label. In 2017, they released their second album “TALES FROM THE WASTELAND”. Their steady activities bore fruit, leading to a contract with FRONTIERS RECORDS in Italy in early 2021. The contract with FRONTIERS RECORDS enabled them to produce music at a higher quality. One of the producers of this album is Jimmy Westerlund of the Finnish melodic rock band ONE DESIRE, and with his help, the band has added a top-notch melodic element to the classic glam rock style of their previous work. The band’s level of musicianship has improved dramatically, and they have grown to become a world-class band.The music is melodic rock with a focus on melancholy melodies, and I highly recommend this band to fans of bands such as ONE DESIRE, and look forward to their future growth.
