The first spin-off release from “RELAXIN’ WITH JAPANESE LOVERS” is here. Since this series has primarily been planned around CD releases,
not every track has necessarily been made available on analog record. In recent years, issuing analog records as 2LP or 3LP sets has also
driven prices up significantly, so in an effort to keep releases affordable, the series has continued with “
chosen from the CD tracklists.
This new spin-off project was made possible by the desire to finally deliver to fans, in LP form, a compilation centered on tracks that were
included on the latest “VOLUME 9” CD but not on the LP, along with tracks that had appeared on previous CDs in the series but had never
been released on analog record, as well as alternate versions of previously included songs. And so, rather than calling it “VOLUME 10,” it has been
given the name “VOLUME 9 1/2.” Ten killer tracks, carefully selected for today’s feeling, await Japanese lovers fans. Please look forward to it.
First, this comes as a surprise gift for fans and an announcement of the launch of this spin-off LP series, while further details including the full
release information will be revealed in the future.
