A Christmas album by the leading mandolin orchestra of Naples. The songs include “White Christmas” and “Silent Night” sung in Italian, and “Sing the Messenger” arranged by Greensleeves and sung in Italian. The highlight of the album is the Neapolitan Christmas songs, which have rarely been introduced to Japan. One of the intentions of this album was to convey Christmas songs from Naples, the hometown of the mandolin. The lyrics of the songs are sung in the Neapolitan language, which also shows the commitment to Naples. Furthermore, since there had been no Christmas album in which the mandolin played the leading role, we decided to try a Christmas album in order to convey the charm of the mandolin to a wider audience.
