Muddy Waters’ ambitious work, which boldly introduced horns, has been reissued! (First time on CD in Japan) This is the reissue of the masterpiece by Muddy Waters, the founder and king of the Chicago blues band style. This is the third album released by Chess following “Sings Big Bill” and “Folk Singers”. At a time when new albums were being released one after another for a new fan base, the style of this album is fresh with the bold introduction of a horn section as the album title suggests. Included are M-4, which has been covered by many musicians, and M-7, which features a famous song by B.B. King. A 1967 single is added as a bonus track. Commentary: Shikago Nagata
