Pianist Mona-Asuka Ott, a native of Munich, Germany, has been studying piano since she was two years old and made her stage debut at the age of four. Her older sister Alice-Sarah Ott is also an active pianist. She made her debut in Japan at the age of 16 at a concert sponsored by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper. In 2017, she came to Japan as a soloist with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Stéphane Denève, showing her ever-growing development as a performer. In this album, she performs Schubert and Liszt, both of which are her specialties.
