Little Walter’s many great quotations include “a revolutionary in harmonica blues” and “a magician on the blues harp. Little Walter’s influence on the Rolling Stones goes without saying, and his respect for Keith Richard, in particular, is unmistakable. After joining Muddy Waters’ band, Walter’s song “Juke” hit No. 1 in 1952 under his own name, and in the 1960s he toured the U.K. with the Rolling Stones.
