[Leonard Bernstein (1918.8.25-1990.10.14) was a star conductor who shared popularity with Karajan in the 20th century.) His passionate, emotionally charged, and soulful performances drew the sympathies of many, and he was loved by many with a charismatic following. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth, 50 titles are being released in a limited edition with UHQCD, green color label coating, and specifications that focus on sound quality. Bernstein, a master musician who led the musical world of the 20th century, took the baton with orchestras throughout Europe, but his performances with the Vienna Philharmonic in particular are a perfect unification of the orchestra’s traditional playing style, flexible sound, and Bernstein’s unique openness and expression. The graceful expression in “Haffner” and the vigorous vitality of “Jupiter” are the best examples of this duo at their best.
