[Crossover & Fusion 1000] The new “Crossover & Fusion 1000” series is a spin-off of the highly successful “Jazz Collection 1000” series launched in 2014. Like the Jazz Collection 1000 series, the new “Crossover & Fusion 1000” series is carefully selected from Sony Music’s extensive catalog, focusing on Columbia and RCA, the two major labels in the United States. The 100 titles (first series: 50 titles released on April 27, second series: 50 titles released on May 25) are released at the special price of 1,000 yen plus tax (1,500 yen plus tax for the 2-disc set). Larry Coryell, a genius who suddenly appeared on the music scene in the 1960s and fused jazz and rock, released this guitar trio album in 1979. With Joe Beck, who is known for his collaborations with John Scofield and David Sanborn before joining the Miles Davis Band, Coryell creates a vivid sonic dialogue on the acoustic guitar. ◆Limited Time Limited Special Price Edition (through December 31, 2017) / Liner notes / Original release date: 1979
