JIMSAKU, a legendary fusion unit from the 1990s featuring Akira Jimbo (Ds) and Tetsuo Sakurai (B), is reuniting for a miraculous limited time! The “JIMSAKU 30th Anniversary Project” kicked off with the surprise release of the remote session video “JIMSAKU IN THE HOUSE” during the GW holidays in May 2020.Preparations for the event were carried out in the midst of the Corona Disaster, with no real sessions or meetings, and after the “JIMSAKU IN THE STUDIO” on July 24, the eve of the 30th anniversary of JIMSAKU’s debut, the release of the new JIMSAKU album is finally confirmed! Super luxury guests will gather for this big news! Shiho (ex.fried pride), NORA, the main vocalist of the world popular salsa band “Orquesta de la Luz”, and LEN, a remarkable Korean vocalist, will be featured on vocals, and Ai TAKAMATSU, a violinist who just graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, ex. Ai Takamatsu, a violinist who just graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Akira Onozuka (P&Key) of ex.DIMENSION, and DE W ABUDJANA, a star guitarist from Indonesia, will join the band!
