[The first Deutsche Grammophon fixed-CD premium album commemorating the 120th anniversary of DG] A Bach album based on a unique concept unique to the beautiful piano maiden, Grimaud. Based on “The Mean Clavier Collection”, which is considered the Old Testament of keyboard instruments, this album is composed of “Pure” versus “Transcribed”, consisting of “original keyboard works (Pure) from the Mean Clavier Collection” and “Bach works arranged for piano by a pianist/composer ( Transcribed)”.
