[In the first half of the 1990s, Kremer intensively recorded Schubert’s works for violin. This album was also recorded during that period and features Schubert and arrangements of his themes by Liszt and Ernst. The works are lined up with skillful use of the melody maker Schubert’s famous melodies of various character, but the first piece, Ernst, known as a difficult piece, is a masterful performance in which Kremer’s virtuosity is fully demonstrated.
