[Eugen Jochum, one of the greatest conductors of the 20th century, was born in Germany in 1902 and died in 1987. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of his death, 17 titles released in the “20th Century Masters Series” are pressed as encore editions. This is the first release from the “Zalomon Set” with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, which is regarded as a masterpiece.
