Compiled and mixed by DJ HASEBEDJ/ Sound producer DJ HASEBE, aka OLD NICK, is a well-known number one DJ in Japan, responsible for all mixes of HONEY meets ISLAND CAFE. He started his career as a DJ in 1990.In 1998, he released a mini album “adore” containing “I want it now” with Sugar Soul & Zeebra, which made his name known to the world. In 2000, he released his full-length album “Hey World”, which was released the following year in several European countries and became a hot topic of conversation. Since then, he has remixed and produced for many artists. In recent years, he has released a series of mix CDs and remixes featuring only Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, a collaborative mix CD series with the beach lifestyle magazine “HONEY,” and a new album featuring Maki Nomiya, formerly of Pizzicato Five, on vocals. In July, he released his first original album “natsuco” in 16 years under the name OLD NICK. The album has been the talk of the town for its resort and stiolite sound, which features a host of gorgeous artists.
