Description
:
After collaborating on a number of live performances since the release of “It is, it isn’t” in 2014, Chihei Hatakeyama and Hakobune have finally completed their second collaborative album. The album, titled “The fall rises,” is as simple yet profound as its title suggests, with a poetic narrative that is both symbolic and abstract. The multi-layered sounds of Stratocaster and Les Paul, accompanied by the chords of Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine, resonate slowly, as if marking an eternal time. The album contains three songs with a sadness and beauty that pours out the memories of summer and reminds us of the coming of autumn. The seemingly endless and fantastic sound takes the listener on a journey into a meditative state, and here is a timeless masterpiece that evokes new and deep impressions no matter how many times you hear it.
