This is the first studio album by bugs cry what, an improvisation duo consisting of Yumiko Yoshimoto (guitar/daxophone) and Michio Karimata (flute/saxophone/voice/etc.), who have been performing together live since 2013. The album is a one-shot recording of the duo’s performance without overdubbing, but it reveals various aspects of the duo’s music, intertwining the flute, which contains many breath and voice sounds, and the daxophone, which sounds like a flesh voice, with irregular playing styles such as electric guitar, saxophone, and voice.
