ANTHEM, one of Japan’s leading orthodox heavy metal bands, has officially signed a contract with and is finally going global. The first release will be a newly recorded best-of album with all lyrics in English. The album was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren. It is noteworthy that 12 of the 13 selected songs, with the exception of “Venom Strike,” are from after the band reunited in 2001. The band has always proven themselves to be the “strongest active band” that does not need to rely on their past representative songs, which is why they can naturally claim “ANTHEM in the present” in this newly-recorded best. This newly-recorded best album, “NUCLEUS,” which contains a rich variety of masterpieces, is a monumental work that shows ANTHEM’s high level of musicianship in an excellent package, and that they are one of the top-class bands in the world. The initial limited edition comes with a Japan-only live DVD “WORST HABITS DIE HARD -ALL REQUEST LIVE- 2018.7.7(Sat) CLUB CITTA'”. Japanese explanation book is enclosed.
