Izumo is a gray land ruled by military might and financial power, where “God” has been absent for a long time. The air is stagnant, the four seasons have disappeared…and yet the people live happily and freely without seeking salvation from the gods. Then one day, a man belonging to the military is summoned by Army Colonel Morira Kusanagi. The man’s name is Tamao Yaegaki. Tamao decides to go to a village that worships a god to find out the truth behind the “godforsaken incident. The village of Ameeroko-Village was built on the back of Yamata-no-Orochi, who was once vanquished by Susano-ono-no-mikoto. There…blue skies, white clouds, and a forgotten summer.
