The Pearl 30i is a true audio celebration of Cayin’s 30th Anniversary !

It is an Integrated Amplifier in two cabinets with separate Amplifier Unit and uber high-end Power Supply Unit.

The Power Supply is designed with four bespoke Power Transformers, which are allocated  (two each) for the Left Channel and the Right channel.

Each channel has its own ultra low noise floor High Voltage Power Supply and Low Voltage Power Supply.

The power supply of each channel is a combination of an 800 watts High Voltage Power Supply and a 200 watt Low Voltage Power Supply.

The total power reaches 2000 watts to guarantee the stunning dynamic and transient response during music playback.

The Pearl 30i provides the separate Power Supply rails in different stages to guarantee a super-stable power to the input stages of the Amplifier and at the same time providing a linear Analog Power Supply.

The Amplifier Unit and Power Supply Unit take the form of a extremely high rigidity chassis structure combined with the finest vibration damping treatment. You can put the units side by side or stack them vertically.

With this unique deisgn you can realize industry best best S/N Ratio’s and significanly lower the magnetic interface to the Amplification Unit.

Customised Power Cables are supplied between the Amplifier Unit and Power Supply Units.

Left and Right channel are connected using four cables made out of 6N Copper Silver Plated Wire.

The Pearl 30i is designed on basis of the astonishing Tungsol KT170 Power Tubes.

It outputs an incredible 230 watts Power in Ultralinear Mode or 145 watts power in Triode Mode per channel.

Designed in Class AB Push-Pull Pearl 30i uses 4 of powerful KT170 tube per channel.

The Pearl 30i is an all tube Integrated with CV4004/12AX7 voltage amplification stage, 6SN7 driver stage, and KT170 output tubes.

Following the DNA of design from Cayin, the Pearl 30i offers two operation modes:

Triode and Ultralinear. Change the output mode you will get a different sound signature instantly.

• Triode Mode is Tendering a presentation which is both Rich in Harmony, and Smooth. Ideal for Vocal and Instrumental Music.
• Ultralinear Mode has power and extension. Clean with energy. Ideal for music which has punch and more of a dynamic flavour – this mode offers excellent control.

In the Pearl 30i we have also engineered into the design choices of two individual timbres:

• Dynamic and Soft, which have been realized by adjusting the operation current of the KT170 Power Tubes.

Output transformers are the most important part of any tube amp as they determine how low the bass will reach and how high and airy the HF’s become.

Output transformers of Pearl 30i are fully custom-designed, wound in-house with Z11 Audio-grade silicon steel sheet which guarantees significantly less signal loss.

Four pairs of line inputs, one pair of Balanced Inputs, one pair of RCA Pre-In and one pair of XLR Pre-In are located on the rear panel of the amplifier.

In our Pearl 30i Integrated Amplifier not only are the Single Ended RCA inputs provided but also the XLR true Balanced Input offering you multiple choices to connect with various of Audio Systems.

Different from other inputs Pre-In offers you a possibility to connect to other Preamplifiers so that you can use the Pearl 30i as a Power Amplifier.

Both RCA and XLR Pre-In are offered in Pearl 30i Amplifier.

Uniquely for a high end valve integrated amplifier, one pair of Sub Output’s is provided on the rear so that the discerning audiophile can easily connect their subwoofer of choice.

Speaker terminals for both 4 and 8 ohm speakers are located on the rear panel of the Amplifier.

Pearl 30i takes an Auto-Bias Design for the KT170 Power Tubes.

With Cayin’s unique and super-accurate auto bias design if you change the Power Tubes you do not need to adjust the bias manually.

Bias is continually adjusted automatically and precisely so that all tubes are perfectly matched which in turn raises the reliability of the Power Tubes and also provides an extended lifetime of the Power Tubes.

Anodised aluminum front, fully vented chassis with a quite gorgeous finish, and an exotic wood decoration on the top plate gives you a truly artistic and stunning aesthetic.

The Pearl 30i employs Point to Point wiring.

The entire circuitry including signal path are painstakingly hand wired with heavy-gauge cable by true craftsman.

With a fully featured and custom programmed MCU, the Pearl 30i is designed with a variety of protection circuits and power-on timing processes that ensure that the amplifier is always working in the optimum condition:

• 60s Time Delay during Switch on
• Soft Start Circuit
• BMI Function.

BMI Function: In order to protect and monitor the operation state of the Power Tubes we have designed the Pearl 30i with Bias Monitoring Indicator.

If the bias of Power Tube is detected as abnormal, the BMI will react and the amplifier will enter into
protection mode.

A high-precision 106-step linear volume control (JRC MUSES 72320V) is provided promoting uber low noise, and low distortion.
