The fifth in a series of recordings of the complete Bruckner symphonies by a traditional orchestra and a new generation of maestros! Nelsons, a conductor who has earned the trust of two prestigious orchestras and is gaining more and more brilliance, has extended his term as Kapellmeister of the Gewandhaus Orchestra until 2027 and as Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra until 2025 in October. The Bruckner series with the Gewandhaus Orchestra, a stronghold of the German musical tradition, has reached its climax with the appearance of the masterpiece No. 8.
