Description
Some debut albums introduce a band. Keyside defines one.
The Liverpool four-piece’s first record is, in Dani-Lee Parker’s own words, “an unfiltered social documentary of modern day UK”: the consequences of growing up in the shadow of addiction, the joy of parks in summer, the chaos of long nights that bleed into something you’ll carry for years. Not a word of it is fiction.
Produced throughout by Chris Taylor (The Coral, Blossoms), and built on the back of sold-out headline tours, festival stages and radio support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X, Keyside is the record that proves a band’s moment has arrived.
Their lyrics don’t shy away from difficult truths – touching on everything from isolation and addiction to hope and redemption – yet the band’s instinct for a soaring hook gives their music its unique pull. Tracks like ‘Angeline’, ‘Nikita’, and ‘Runaway’ have marked them as natural songwriters, winning praise and support across BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Radio X and Amazing Radio.
Onstage, KEYSIDE have built a reputation for raw, joyful live shows. Their first UK headline tour sold out at a blistering pace, followed by standout support slots with Blossoms, Royston Club, Mantra of the Cosmos and Shed Seven.
2026 sees the release of their self-titled debut album ‘Keyside’.
